Dannette PulleyDanette Pulley

Danette Pulley is one of Ogden’s biggest rock stars.  She is not only involved but has lead so many organizations in our community including Ogden’s Community Soccer and Sport Complex,  GOAL, Mayor Caldwell’s Campaign, Marcia White City Council Campaign, RAMP Committee, and the Ogden School District and IB Program.  She is an Independent contractor with Maritz, active church member, amazing mother, wife, and friend.  She makes where she lives a better place and who she is with better people.  She is an example to all that one person can make a difference! ” – Jeffrey Harrison

“Danette has been so supportive of our schools. She was instrumental in getting the International Baccalaureate program at Ogden High. She also lead the charge on getting the Eccles Ogden Community Soccer Complex planned and built and goes forward with the expansion efforts. She has helped with the Weber Pathways fundraiser while not even being on the board. People call Danette because they know that she will get things done and done right. The Mayor asked her to help with his election and re-election campaigns. She volunteers to organize all the rest of the volunteers at the Ogden Marathon Expo every year.

I could go on and on with the things that Danette does for our community. . She probably works more with her community events than she does at her real job!” – Angie Osguthorpe

“Danette Pulley is a mover and shaker in the Ogden community. She does not seek the limelight, but rather sees a problem in the community, finds a solution and sees it through. She does many projects on her own initiative, such as a recent initiative to work on a trail in her neighborhood, or spearheads a collaboration with others — such as the initiative to create the Ogden Soccer Complex – which has now come to fruition. Danette has been involved in a number of community projects including being Executive Director of the GOAL Foundation when it was in its infancy. Danette continues to be a prolific volunteer at community events such as Exterra, Harvest Moon, the Ogden Marathon. She is always taking the initiative to rally others to volunteer with her and creates a lot of energy for positive things to happen in the community.” – Mara Brown

“Danette has been working to support Weber County through her service for many years. Danette has served on the GOAL Board, supported events, and serves on the RAMP Board and helped with the marketing committee for the initiative to re-new RAMP. These are just the tip of the iceberg for the work that Danette quietly does for our community. Over the past few years, Danette saw a need to improve Ogden Schools and worked with a few others to create a SEED (group that facilitated meetings with the School Board and the Ogden School Foundation to bring an International Baccalaureate program to Ogden High. She has recently been working to improve and create more soccer fields (including the new soccer complex on 22nd st). Danette works quietly under the radar to achieve great things for our community and our children.” – Stephanie Christiansen

“Danette Pulley could be dominated for something in every category. She has been a leader and served on so many school, community, and non-profit boards it is hard to list them all. She is passionate about education and was instrumental in bringing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program to Ogden High School. She worked closely with the Ogden School Board, Superintendent, Ogden School Foundation, and parent groups over a 5 year period to bring this highly academic program to Ogden. She is a co-chair for the Ogden Community Soccer Complex that just held its first game. Danette organized the fundraising campaign for the soccer complex, developed the soccer complex newsletter, organized an event to raise funds that over 1200 people attended at the WSU Ice sheet. She was a founding member of the GOAL board and has been an active organizer of the Ogden Marathon since its start. She serves on the RAMP committee. She volunteers and helps Weber Pathways events. She is a dedicated mother, wife, friend, and neighbor. She loves where she lives and is dedicated to making Ogden a better place. She is active in her church and kid’s elementary school (she serves on the community council at Shadow Valley Elementary). She served as Mayor Caldwell’s campaign manager and is helping with this year’s campaign as well. Everything she touches is a success. She gives it her all and takes things to the next level. She has an incredible ability to organize and communicate with people. She is a natural and strong leader. I can provide countless names of community leaders that would endorse her nomination. Thank you very much for your consideration of Danette Pulley.”
