Forty Under 40 Entry Form:

“I am nominating an Ogden native, Nick Morris-owner of Kaffe Mercantile for the Forty under 40 award. Nick and his spouse, Lance Smith has owned Kaffe Mercantile in Ogden since June of 2009. It is in a building where a local business has been since 1921 and they have worked tirelessly to create their dream of having a business that hires top-notch employees who make and maintain their loyal customers through great customer service and ongoing relationships. Most of their products are locally sourced and a vacation rental is attached to the coffee shop that supports the local economy and tourism outside of Kaffe Mercantile. They have been so successful that a second Kaffe Mercantile was recently opened in South Ogden. Along with being successful at their business and creating a community gathering place, they also understand the importance of giving back to the Ogden Community. They have volunteered and donated to the following causes: Ogden’s Free Community Meal for four years where they have supplied coffee each year for 600 guests, Weber State University, St. Joseph’s Catholic School, Real Men Can Cook Program at the Your Community Connection, Zions Bank, Ogden Outreach, Youth Futures, Ogden High Football and Dance, and many more. Nick has given so much to the community of Ogden that he deserves the Forty Under 40 award.” – Kim Harbath
