Forty Under 40 Entry Form:

“Turner is an incredibly active member of Northern Utah’s community. In 2013 at 22 years old he ran for Ogden City Council, narrowly losing to Doug Stephens. Turner received the endorsement of the Standard Examiner and demonstrated a keen knowledge of the issues facing our community. Since then Turner has gone on to serve on the Board of Directors for several community organizations including OUTreach Resource Centers (formerly Ogden Outreach) where he serves as Treasurer. When Turner joined the Board of Directors of OUTreach in June of 2014, the organization was facing a $50,000 deficit and Turner went to work attacking that deficit by reducing costs and raising over$50,000 in the final quarter of 2014. Today the organization is solvent, has expanded services, and continues to serve LGBTQ and other under-served youth.
